Hi there! I’m a Bangladeshi American cartoonist and writer based in San Francisco.

My work explores topics like chronic illness and identity through the lens of humor and narrative. I recently edited Tired AF: A Collection of Chronic Illness Comics, published by Crucial Comix, and have a comic in the forthcoming How to Touch Grass anthology by Power & Magic Press.

My comics and writing have been featured in various publications including The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, and The Nib, and showcased at venues like the Cartoon Art Museum and the Charles M. Schulz Museum. I have been recognized as a Creative in Residence at The Ruby, Showcase Artist at Kearny Street Workshop, and member of the National Cartoonists Society.

For my day job, I am a Program Manager at the App Inventor Foundation, a nonprofit that democratizes technology creation for people of all backgrounds. Before this, I worked as a software engineer for Samsara, Yelp, NASA, and Facebook. I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from MIT.
